Please help us express the importance of street safety to our children.

In recent light of the accident involving one of Lewis and Clark Middle School's students the other morning, some non-life threatening accidents, and other near misses this fall we have a request of you.  As students are either walking/biking to and from school or walking/biking in the evenings and weekends in our community we need your in help in keeping them safe.

In the next few days, could you please set aside some time to educate/remind students of safety protocols when walking and biking? Billings is a growing community with increased traffic and we have all witnessed people driving too fast, running red lights, etc, creating dangerous situations for our students.

The link below has some safety tips from Safe Routes to School for you and your children to use for talking point.

Thank you for helping us keep our children safe.
